Depending on the nature of your services, you could build an online portfolio, this is particularly good for creatives such as designers, photographers or writers. If you are unable to create a portfolio, you can still build a strong website to highlight the services you offer.
It’s also a good idea to use social media to get involved in industry discussions. This can help the recruiter to see that you’re passionate about what you do and you can showcase your knowledge and involvement in your industry, making them more likely to want to meet with you.
3. Prove you’ve got what it takes
Whether you’re working on your CV, cover letter, or interview techniques, the best way to impress a recruiter is by demonstrating your skills and making yourself stand out from other candidates.
You can do so by using real examples of how you’ve helped previous employers. This could be by citing how much you improved traffic to their website, how you helped them to make more sales, how much revenue you generated or even just the size of the team you managed.
