Project Overview (December 2017 – July 2019)
Colin was initially engaged as a Sales Operations & Strategy Consultant to support TES Global in transitioning from a transactional sales model to a SaaS-based subscription model. His role involved optimising sales operations, analysing business performance, and providing strategic insights to drive digital transformation.
Following his successful contributions, Colin was invited to continue as Principal Consultant, overseeing an expanded digital change programme. This initiative included CRM and sales enablement projects and entailed the technical carve-out of TES Global’s “THE” division.
Sales Operations & Strategy Consultant
TES Global was undergoing a significant shift to a subscription-based sales model. Colin was brought in to evaluate sales operations, analyse key performance metrics, and provide strategic recommendations for a smooth transition. He leveraged customer insights to better align TES’s offerings with targeted customer needs.
Principal Consultant – Programme Delivery
In his role as Principal Consultant, Colin played a crucial role in managing Salesforce CRM projects and implementing tactical changes to improve digital operations. His responsibilities included overseeing the technical carve-out of TES Global’s “THE” division, ensuring a seamless separation of technology infrastructure and operational continuity during the transition.
Colin also supported the operational relocation of TES’s teams from London to Sheffield, ensuring uninterrupted project delivery. His efforts included hiring team members in Sheffield, providing logistical support, and mentoring Salesforce development teams, which led to significant improvements in project outcomes.
