The Company: Under One Roof
Under One Roof is a group PropTech business that includes Webdadi Ltd and Datography Ltd. Webdadi operates a SaaS model, providing services such as websites, mobile apps, content management systems, workflow applications, SEO, CRM, Facebook applications, and e-marketing to residential and commercial agents. Datography offers professional photography and floorplan products to the estate agency market.
These businesses share resources, customers, and operate as a single entity from an operational perspective.
The Project (August 2012 – June 2014)
Between 2012 and 2014, Colin served as the Interim Managing Director for the Under One Roof group, which comprised Webdadi and Datography. He was appointed to this role due to the long-term illness of the owner.
Colin’s responsibility covered all areas of the business, including sales, customer support, IT, product development, and finance. He managed 27 permanent staff members and 9 contractors. His primary remit was to transform the business and set it on a path for growth. By the time Colin left, Under One Roof had become the fastest-growing software and media supplier to estate agents in the UK, with revenues rapidly increasing.
